14th February 2019.

💔 The day I broke it off.

It wasn’t easy. It was all I’d known for the last 10 years of my life.

It’s hard to say goodbye when there’s still passion and excitement and genuine love.

But it just wasn’t working for me anymore.

I had to make a choice.

And I chose me.

💔That day I broke it off with bypassing my body’s needs.

💔I broke it off with the need to perform or achieve for validation.

💔I broke it off with ignoring the call of my spirit.

In an act of self-love, I broke up with my job.

I had no idea where I was going or what I’d end up doing or how. I didn’t have a plan.

All I knew was that I had amassed a raft of incredible skills and that they would serve as my lifeboat, floating me securely into the future.

Life today looks, sounds and feels so different - as do I. But I’m grateful to my younger self for her bravery in taking that decision in spite all the (legitimate) fears.

💚Today I feel happier in my skin than ever, I feel secure in my voice and connected to my purpose.

💚When you create more space in your life, life can change in an instant. Through the energy of spaciousness, you invite experiences and people that are in resonance with your present vibration: opportunities will fall in your lap and you'll notice synchronicities that blow your mind.

💚The process isn’t easy. You'll come up against the edge of who you think you are every. step. of. the. way. But that commitment to yourself; that coming up against your own edges is deeply transformational.

So be brave and follow the call of your spirit. What do you need to break up with to create more space in your life? What do you want to call in? Let that bravery be an act of self-love. And may your life be a monument to self-love.
