What is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)?
When I explain to people what I do and which techniques I work with, they often ask: What exactly is EFT? What will the session involve?
My usual response is: It's like acupuncture but without the needles. It works on your body's meridians to bring your system into balance by lowering cortisol and increasing serotonin.
It's wonderful and it works.
If you'd like to learn more, check out this short video by Gary Craig, founder of EFT; it's well-worth a watch.
The video presents a number of case studies in which conditions such as diabetes, PTSD, chronic fatigue, insomnia, fear of flying, addiction, cravings, migraines and even multiple sclerosis have been successfully treated with EFT.
Like I said before, it's wonderful and it works!
I cannot emphasise what a remarkably powerful technique it is and, in my therapy work, I cannot go without it. I use it on myself too and I am always amazed at how quickly and how effectively it works. I love it and, after a session, you will too.
Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP)
NLP is a fresh and exciting approach that analyses the pattern or structure of an issue rather than the issue itself. Once these unconscious processes are made conscious, new, positive templates for change are "installed" allowing you to create new habits to move forward in your life so that you can experience all the happiness, success and fulfilment that you deserve.
NLP creates a space that allows us to move past any mental blocks that have, up to now, been causing pain and suffering. As we move through the process, a deep sense of personal realisation, acceptance and peace ensues.
It’s truly beautiful and liberating work.
It's basically a detox for the mind, where any toxic patterns and beliefs are purged and replaced with ones that nourish you instead.
One of the brilliant things about NLP is how empowering it is - by making your unconscious patterns conscious, you will see for yourself what, specifically, you could change in your life to achieve your goals and dreams. Moreover, you will see for yourself what you can start doing (and stop doing!) to achieve immediate results.
If you'd like to learn more, have a look at the video which explains a little bit more about the principles underpinning NLP.
Through the integration of the powerhouse approaches of EFT and NLP you will be able to resolve any issue and, in doing so, create the life of your choosing.
